Hallucinating Hampi - The ending Note

#12

Anjali had enough time to read the diary, as Sahasra steered the vehicle. She looked excited, when Anjali, who had come back to help Sahasra leaving back her family at home agreed to read the diary loud.

With every page she turned, a series of mixed emotions followed. Now, Anjali and Sahasra could fill up a lot of blank lines, rather paragraphs. As she read through the pages, they laughed at the instances where Biswas and Ramu misunderstood Sahasra's looks to be her love for them.

Anjali, now knew the Rani that Sahasra referred, while Sahasra's jaw dropped listening about her encounter with Lord Shiva after death and how a fall in the river distracted and brought her back out of hallucination.
As Sahasra reached near her apartments, Anjali stepped down with her luggage to walk into the same building complex.

Being the neighbours who never knew each other, they smiled at their destiny as they walked to the different levels in the same apartment.

That moment was the birth of a new dancing duo. Both of them continued to perform in different stages while keeping their travel spirits alive.

I feel relieved to have narrated the story of Sahasra in the way I conceived. The characters in the story and the story itself was fictional. They were just an exaggerated projection of the characters that i had met during the journey. But, to make you understand my rush that I went through for four days in Hampi, the exaggeration was inevitable.
From the Portuguese Invasion to the Mohammedan Civil war that broke Hampi and then the Kishkindha Kingdom on the other side of the river, everything had influenced me.

Thanks for being with Sahasra through out the journey.

Thanks and apologies to the real Sahasra who is waiting to be a medico, but not a schizophreniac. Thank you Chippy, Chiku, Sherin, Saju for being a part of my story. Thank you gop's, ettathi and every single person who supported me by reviewing.

May the good soul and spirit be with you, and guide you to use your shortcomings in favour of you rather than against you while you continue to do what you do without losing the sanctity.
I do not know if i would write again. But if i ever do, I will make sure to write it better
